Meet Jenny

My journey with fundraising began when I worked in a variety of roles with a global non-government organisation. I accomplished this by heavily investing in personal relationships with groups of supportive, passionate and purpose driven people. During this time I developed my marketing and communication skills with regular and major donors, volunteers, in event management as well as facilitating meetings, team sessions and public speaking. Presenting to small and large groups or one-on-one, I motivated and inspired them to action. They were able to identify with a cause, feel a sense of belonging, and meaningfully contribute to making a difference for future generations.

My previous experience allowed me to gain leadership skills and professional development through experiential learning. In 2011, I trained as a Gifts in Wills Specialist and worked for the Neurological Foundation NZ as a Territory Relationship Manager. Subsequently, I joined the philanthropy team, as Gifts in Wills Manager for international development agencies, Tearfund NZ and World Vision NZ.

I am a member of the Fundraising Institute of NZ (FINZ), a FINZ Mentor and participate in the Auckland Gifts in Wills Special Interest Group.

At Willpower I lead with passion and infectious enthusiasm, sharing know-how, skills and experience so that you are enabled to affect change in your organisation.
